Our Services

Scattering Ashes

Direct Cremation

  • A Direct Cremation is when the persons body is taken from their place of death directly to our mortuary and cremated at the first available opportunity.

  • A Direct Cremation is the cheapest and simplest option after someone dies.

There are very few arrangements to be made and we can do it all over the phone.

  • We can usually have the ashes available within 10-12 days after the cremation.

We’ll work with you to arrange the most convenient way to deliver.

  • Our prices are always shown with everything included.

GST. certifications, fees, levies and duties are all included.

Burial

Burial

  • Burial is when the persons body is returned to the ground within a cemetery of your choice.

Whether that is a traditional cemetery or a natural burial ground, like the Bushland Cemetery at Frenchs Forest.

  • Burial is the most traditional form of funeral after someone dies.

It is the time honoured ceremony of returning the persons body to the earth.

  • All the preparations are made at our mortuary where the persons body is washed and dressed.

The clothes are usually provided by the family and are usually the persons favourite outfit or clothes they were known for.

When time is ready the coffin is carried to the cemetery by a specialised hearse.

Usually a formal funeral ceremony is held at the grave-side before the coffin is lowered into the grave.

Afterwards, the mourners usually have a gathering somewhere for the Wake.

  • Please note the price shown below does not include :

    • burial plot cost

    • grave digging fees

These items are extra and arranged directly with the cemetery.

  • GST. certifications, fees, levies and duties are all included.

Burial plot and grave digging fees are not included as these are calculated directly with the cemetery.

Memorial Service

Memorial

  • A Memorial is an event that honours someone life after they die.

Usually held soon after the death while the memory of that person is the brightest amongst family and friends.

  • No, a memorial is not mandatory.

But, it is a great way to bring family and friends together to celebrate and commiserate with each other and talk about the persons life.

Some say it is the first step on the path to healing and overcoming grief.

  • A memorial is usually arranged within 2 weeks after someone dies.

If the person is cremated, the ashes can be present at the memorial - this adds an element of closeness and reality to the memorial.

  • Prices for a Memorial Service can vary.

There are so many options to consider :

    • venue

    • catering (food & drinks)

    • celebrant or MC

    • flowers

    • etc…

We’d be happy to talk through a few options with you.
